COMMUNITY, FAMILY & FAITH

Wallace has been a dedicated community servant since arriving in Fort Worth in 1992. He settled his family in Fort Worth because of the values that the community shared. He raised 2 sons and 2 daughters here. He has been actively involved with his community by serving as the President of the Historic Southside Neighborhood Association and as a PTA President for Van Zandt Guinn Elementary School. He is an active member of Truvine Baptist Church.

PURPOSE DRIVEN CAREER

Since the 1990s, Wallace has dedicated his work to community service. He helped build and expand the successful programs at Bethlehem United Community Centers. As the community center director, Wallace built a successful youth program that expanded to serve 120 youth in the community. He would go on to run successful programs for youth mentoring and diversionary programs for first-time youth offenders. He continues his purpose-driven community work today, serving as a street outreach program caseworker to provide crisis intervention programs for youth in our community.

Throughout his life, Wallace has always focused on giving back to his community. From his career to his community service, Wallace has always focused on improving the quality of life for residents in Fort Worth. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Historic Southside Neighborhood Association and as the neighborhood representative for the Fort Worth Community Action Partnership. Wallace has a clear understanding of the issues that our community faces and a proven record of service in working to address them.
